At 9am we were at the border, had our passports stamped. The two german girls were with our bus since our trip into puerto natales and the torres del paine.
At 10.55am we had our passports stamped at the argentinuan's immigration. Very quick procedure.
Within 10 minutes we were at Rio Turbio. Temperature 4°C.
Reached ElCalafate at 2pm. Hosteria Austral at usd200 for 3 nights. Cute cosy room. The towncentre is just a skip a way. Most of the shops were closed including Casa de Cambio and the Excursion tour agents. We had no argentinian money.
Waiting for my grand argentinian steak costing 129 for the last 30mins. Poor cow has to die because of me. Size too big; half kept for dinner.
