Hello Brazil ... no costa rica :(

Reached Hotel Plage at almost 10pm last night. Very hungry but luckily their restaurent was still open although not much choice of food. Still, i am grateful for a plate of rice and abit of vegie. Interestingly the owner is in Malaysia.

Day time gives a better impression of the neighbourhood. The hotel faces the sea.

Bored after 3 weeks of holiday. Took pictures of me while sitting on the hote room's throne doing big job. Idle mind is a devil's workshop. I admire those who are so narcissistic as to keep taking pictures of themeelves. :)) i can't wait to get back to real life.

A bombshell. When we wanted to check-in we were told that we need yellow fever vaccination. This applies to all passengers from Brazil entering Costa Rica. I felt so down and disappointed. Quickly we rushed  to copaairlines office in Copacabana and was kindly helped by besutiful Daniel, on how to request a refund. We could only get our refund back within 2 months. Phew! What a relief but disappointed that i cant see constanza.

Booked 3 days in Pousada Favela Constagalo. Walked 5 minutes uphill. A kind gentleman helped us carry the bag to the hotel. The most interesting accomodation we have ever stayed in. Very basic, not even a tv. Count your little blessings.

Walked down to city centre. Lunch at 3pm. A very very big portion if seafood spaghetti with huge octopus and scallops. I felt as if my stomach could explode! Tasty! Total damagr R86. Clmbing back is no joke.
